[if I use it for my campus commute, 3 miles round trip, fairly hilly. Me plus backpack is probably 175 lb. It provides dignified transportation without any sweat. Of course on uphills it will grind to a halt, but a few kicks will keep it from completely stalling. Best power is at jogging/running speed
Weaknesses: Handling. It's not nearly as nimble as you'd imagine, and the "feedback" through the handlebars is quite terrifying at anything beyond a walking pace. The brake is quite marginal, and will probably wear soon. I rarely use it. Braking is a sign of weakness!
So once you get beyond a walking pace, you will be zipping along. Just as long as your destination is in a straight line and less than 5 miles round trip, you have swift, sweat-free transport.
Fun suggestions: Loosen the back screws for a great "ripping", 2-stroke-like sound when pulling away from the curb. Hilarious! And never touch the motor, it gets quite hot.]

Scotter does not work after one month – Janice B. Amigh – Johnstown,PA
We purchased this E300 scooter for our grandson who is 10 years old about one month ago. He was on vacation and did not use the scooter for 10 of those days. He loved it until yesterday when while riding it just stopped on him. No attempt at hitting the reset button worked. We decided to let it set overnight (the battery was fully charged when this happened) to see if that would help. It did not. When it stopped on him he had only been riding it for 3 minutes around the neighborhood.
Since day one the brake squeeked LOUDLY and we could not figure out how to adjust it.
I am trying to contact the company regarding what to do with this scooter (not an inexpensive item) and ask what my options are.
My displeasure is not with Amazon as I shop there all the time and always have great satisfaction.
didn’t last 1 year – L. Stutz –
It dies and you have to stop and reset it. Then it only lasts about 10 minutes and you have to charge it forever! Now less than one year later after purchase, IT IS DEAD! Kind of large to ship it back to Amazon for a partial refund. What to do?
Razor E300 Electric Scooter -My kids love it – RoyJaw –
Brought this for my 10 year old son. It works great, is tons of fun and was
easily assembled for riding in 5 minutes. You do need to fully charge the
battery before riding. The rest of my kids ages 13-15 can ride it also
and also love it.
